How could a man tell the world of his plan
When you just leave me alone like this
I need someone to listen
I need someone to blame
I need someone to play me at my stupid little game
You’re turning into something that you’re not
Remember when I met you, you were lost
How could a man build a wall around himself
And say you can’t leave me alone like this
We had a perfect plan
You couldn’t understand
Now you can’t leave me alone like this
You’re turning into something that you’re not
Remembering the faces you forgot
And in the end we’ll focus on your crown x2
For all of your worries
For all of your lies
You curse the separation
Then you severe all your ties
It’s a wonder how we got here
Carrying such weight
You were never one to move on
I was never one to stay
And in the end we’ll focus on your crown

Incredible album. I'm so happy how "Little Green Cars" evolved into Soda Blonde, and extremely pleased that Faye O'Rourke is at the forefront of vocals with her fantastic, captivating voice. Such a moving album, and the underlying themes really presenting a sort of isolation and general feeling of being upset in a relationship, in my interpretation. It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles

This Nashville group draws on the classic sound of ’80s goth and gloom pop to create swirling songs with stately keys and haunting melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 27, 2021

Obscura Somnia for a long time has been a song of serene hope for me. For me it is one of their best. It's about time they re-record it in a longer version. en_music
