Underneath the debris
Of this silent sounding city
There’s a place where I left you
A place I dug a grave for my own heart
For my own heart
I can’t pretend I’m fine
I can’t walk ‘round these streets all night
I’m not afraid of ghosts
I’m just afraid I’ll see things that remind me
That remind me of you
So tell me you hate me
I let me move on
Cause you’re silent sorrows
They drag me along
The walls around me sing
All of our favourite songs
So tell me you hate me
And let me move on
If I’m on fire
I hope you burn for this
You’re not pleased ‘till they’ve all had their say
I’m not gone just got out of your way
The pulse downed strokes and fell from my chest
All roads lead to us not being there yet
There’s no point in us being this way
There’s no right way to tear up a page
You drink lies bleeding off of my tongue
You break down but you’re still not the one
Incredible album. I'm so happy how "Little Green Cars" evolved into Soda Blonde, and extremely pleased that Faye O'Rourke is at the forefront of vocals with her fantastic, captivating voice. Such a moving album, and the underlying themes really presenting a sort of isolation and general feeling of being upset in a relationship, in my interpretation. It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
angel apricot makes sweet and intimate '90s-style bedroom pop with delicate melodies and melancholic, reflective lyrics. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 29, 2022
This Nashville group draws on the classic sound of ’80s goth and gloom pop to create swirling songs with stately keys and haunting melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 27, 2021
Obscura Somnia for a long time has been a song of serene hope for me. For me it is one of their best. It's about time they re-record it in a longer version. en_music
