'Who am I Supposed To Talk To Now' is a song about losing someone who was always willing to help and sacrifice themselves for others. The song is tinged with guilt for not recognising that this person needed help more than anyone and the empathy that they possessed was born from their own experience with depression and hardship.
lyrics
Was there a moment things changed?
Its hard to pick a moment from a lifetime when nothing would go your way
It manifested and stayed
Getting through the day when the night came you come under attack
And everything went black
Who Am I Supposed to Talk to Now?
Now that you have gone
You always said you were fine
I should have known then it was tearing at your mind
But you created a time
There wasn’t anybody left who could meet you at the fire
Was it the wrong thing to say?
I could never seem to find the right time to talk to you
Was it the wrong thing to do?
Everyone else played the role of a clown inside of you
Then everything went blue
Who Am I Supposed to Run to Now?
Now that you have gone
You always said you were fine
I should have known then it was tearing at your mind
But you created a time
There wasn’t anybody left who could meet you at the fire
Who Am Supposed to talk to now?
Now that you have gone

Wonderful to see Irish musicians putting out something as fresh as this, even if Bitch Falcon's influences are front and centre. The album is a fantastic mix of shoegaze and grunge (and even dream pop if I may be so bold), and it all comes together in one tight, thoroughly enjoyable package. derringerhk

Incredible album. I'm so happy how "Little Green Cars" evolved into Soda Blonde, and extremely pleased that Faye O'Rourke is at the forefront of vocals with her fantastic, captivating voice. Such a moving album, and the underlying themes really presenting a sort of isolation and general feeling of being upset in a relationship, in my interpretation. Why do I love this record? it has a haunting sound with a destination. The vocals are very sweet and the riffs hook you in . The songs have a great momentem they begin at once place then end some other place and don't go in a circle . if that makes sense? jimmyfuc
